Why are cigars so expensive in Thailand?

The import tax in Thailand is very high and goes by weight as well as value of the cigars.
As we import everything legally with all import licenses/permits and pay all taxes, we simply cannot compete with online stores that ship from overseas which will result in your shipment being stopped at Thai customs.
Don’t forget that there are also shipping charges (which have substantially increased due to covid), clearance charges as well as local handling charges.
We do our best to keep cigar prices in Thailand fair, so that you can enjoy a wide range of brands.
Can I order online from other websites and get cigars sent to Thailand?
You can but there is a very high chance that they will get stopped at Thai Customs.
Once they are stopped at Thai Customs, you will have to physically go and clear them and pay the full taxes.
If you import too many cigars without a proper import license and permit, you will not be able to clear them and they would probably be confiscated.
Are your cigars legal?
All cigars that we import into the Kingdom of Thailand are legal with all proper licenses, paperwork and full taxes/duty paid.
All proper tax stamps and health warning labels are applied to every box.

How do you store cigars?
We have dedicated electronic humidors that run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Temperature is set at 22 degrees centigrade and 70% humidity.
